Description: 

UAN Urea Ammonium Nitrate Liquid Fertilizers is a solution of urea and ammonium nitrate in water used as a fertilizer. The combination of urea and ammonium nitrate has an extremely low critical relative humidity and can therefore only be used in liquid fertilizers.

Usually the Nitrate Nitrogen content is 6.5%~7.5%, Ammonium Nitrogen 6.5%~7.5%, Amide Nitrogen 14%~17%. UAN concentrates three nitrogen sources in one product, which can give full play to the advantages of various nitrogen sources. Nitrate nitrogen can provide immediate nitrogen source for rapid absorption by crops, while ammonium nitrogen is partially absorbed immediately and partially absorbed by soil colloidality, thus extending the fertilizer efficiency, especially at low temperatures, usually playing the role of long-term nitrogen fertilizer.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

Do not use zinc or copper (brass, bronze, etc.) alloys in contact with UAN solution due to corrosion. Also, cast iron, malleable iron, or ductile iron are much more susceptible to corrosion than aluminum or carbon steel. Be especially wary of plugs and fittings on storage tanks made from these materials.
