Application:

1. As an analytical reagent and oxidant and also used in the synthesis of potassium salt and preparation of explosives.
2. In the food industry, it is used as hair color agent, color protection agent, antimicrobial agent, preservative, such as for curing meat, and plays an anti-corrosion role in lunch meat.
3. It is the manufacture of black powder, such as mine powder, ignition line, firecrackers and other raw materials. It is also used in fireworks to produce purple sparks. A salt bath for quenching by mechanical heat treatment. The ceramic industry is used to make enamel drugs. Used as a glass clarifying agent. Used in the manufacture of automobile lamp glass, optical glass picture tube glass, etc. The pharmaceutical industry is used for the production of penicillin potassium salt, rifametine drugs. Used to make cigarette paper. Used as a catalyst. Beneficiation agent. Used as a compound fertilizer for crops and flowers.
4. It is also allowed to use hair color agent in China. It is reduced to potassium nitrite in meat products due to bacterial action and plays a role in color protection and bacteriostasis. China stipulates that it can be used for meat products, the maximum usage is 0.5g/kg, and the residual amount shall not exceed 0.03g/kg.
5. It can be used in the manufacture of fireworks, matches, ceramic glaze, fertilizer, etc.
6. It is also widely used in reinforced glass manufacturing process.

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat. The temperature of the storage is not more than 40℃, and the relative humidity is not more than 80%. It should be stored separately from reducing agents, acids, combustible materials and active metal powders, and should not be mixed.
